While the polar summer is approaching, large blocks of ice break off the icerberg and float away starting their long journey, being blown adrift by winds and strong currents. These large sheets of ice altogether take the name of Pack. It is from the uncontaminated and remotest arctic or antarctic latitudes that Pack lands on our door-step, while its variously bending surFaces run into one another to give life to a crystal shape as definite and precise as a diamond.
